here are some of the ideas from my talk about opening the birdcage:
write everything
get a group of people to help you
don't make to do lists
disconnecting from daily routine (break, work outside of usual place)
brainstorming
prototype your ideas
throw away bad ideas
share your ideas with close friends, expert, family, mentor
money isn't the ultimate motivator
motivations - have fun, express yourself, learn
kickstarter - website where you throw out ideas and have people pledge for them
give credit where it's due
listen to other people's ideas and thoughts
